At Home Whitening

What happens during in office whitening treatment?
- During in office treatment, we start off with a before picture to capture your stained smile.
- This is followed by our experienced dentist using specalised equipment to protect your gums, lips and cheeks before applying the high concentration whitening gel.
- A high powered UV light activates the whitening gel and within an hour your teeth can get up to 8 shades whiter.
- We will finish with a hydrating rinse and an after picture to capture your amazing bright smile.
What is the aftercare following teeth whitening?
- Tooth Sensitivity:
In most cases, our patients experience little to no sensitivity after the procedure. In some cases, mild sensitivity can persist for 24 hours. Our team will supply you with a take home gel to apply which will help to soothe sensitive teeth and gums. - Diet:
It is important to follow a strict diet of non colourful foods for 24-48 hours following your whitening procedure. Foods to avoid include black tea and coffee, red, green or yellow curries, coke, red wine and any other foods that may stain your teeth.
