Bulk billing means the eligible service is billed through the CDBS program rather than paid out of pocket by the family, subject to eligibility, available balance and program rules.

How do I know if my child is eligible?
Children may be eligible if they meet the age, Medicare and eligible payment requirements set by Services Australia. Eligible families are usually notified, but you can also check through Medicare or Services Australia.

What happens before treatment?

CDBS may cover basic dental services such as check-ups, cleans, X-rays where needed, fissure seals, fillings, root canal treatment and extractions.
Orthodontic, cosmetic and hospital dental services are not generally covered under CDBS.
